Echocardiogram

An echocardiogram (echo) is a test that uses high frequency sound waves to make pictures of your heart. Essentially an ultrasound of your heart. This tests allows a physician to see your heart beating and pumping blood. It also allows your heart valves to be visualized. These images can then be used to screen for heart disease.

Abdominal Aortic Exam

A safe, painless exam that uses sound waves to visualize the abdominal portion of the aortic artery. This exam uses Doppler technology to determine blood flow. The exam also screens for narrowing or blockage as well as possible aneurysm of the abdominal aorta.

Physician Interpretation

A board certified cardiologist will look at all your study images and results and will provide a written medical interpretation.

Carotid Artery Exam

Carotid ultrasound is a safe, painless procedure that uses sound waves to examine the blood flow through the carotid arteries. Your two carotid arteries are located on each side of your neck. They deliver blood from your heart to your brain. Carotid ultrasound tests for blocked or narrowed carotid arteries, which can increase the risk of stroke. The results can help your doctor determine a treatment to lower your stroke risk

 Heart Rhythm Screening

An electrocardiogram (also called EKG or ECG) is a test that records the electrical activity of your heart through small electrode patches attached to the skin of your chest. Our heart rhythm screening uses a small EKG to screen for atrial fibrillation or another type of abnormal heart rhythm. Atrial fibrillation can increase chance of stroke.
